  • Luke Littler, 19, was defeated 6-5 by world number 68 Cam Crabtree in the semi-finals.
  • The loss means Littler missed the chance to hold both senior and youth world titles simultaneously.
  • Crabtree will now face Jan Schmidt in the final on 29 November.

Darts sensation Luke Littler has been knocked out of the World Youth Championship semi-finals, suffering a 6-5 defeat to Cam Crabtree. The 19-year-old world number one was unable to overcome world number 68 Crabtree, ending his bid to hold both the senior and youth world titles concurrently.

This semi-final exit marks Littler's second consecutive loss at this stage of the tournament, having also been defeated in 2025. Crabtree, 23, will now advance to face Germany's Jan Schmidt in the final, scheduled for 29 November.

The final will take place on finals day at the Players Championship Finals in Minehead. Littler is currently ranked 126th in the Players Championship order of merit and has yet to qualify for that event, with only the top 64 making the cut. Four Players Championship events remain, though Littler recently withdrew from two events in Den Bosch, Netherlands, after reportedly being booed by crowds.

Why this matters: This defeat prevents Luke Littler from holding both the senior and youth world titles simultaneously, a rare achievement in darts.
