Liverpool have emerged as genuine contenders to sign Brentford and Germany forward Kevin Schade, 24. Schade has also been linked with Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Manchester City players Erling Haaland, 26, and Phil Foden, 26, are reportedly drawing interest from Europe's top clubs. Real Madrid and Barcelona are said to be circling Haaland, while Bayern Munich would reportedly move for Foden if he becomes available.

Elsewhere, Brighton and Gambia winger Yankuba Minteh, 22, is reportedly still keen to join Liverpool after a summer move did not materialise. Italy and Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini, 22, reportedly wants to play abroad, with Newcastle and Chelsea having expressed interest. Additionally, Nottingham Forest, Roma, and Napoli target Dodo, 27, looks set for a January move from Fiorentina.
