Paul Geddes has officially commenced his role as Group Chief Executive of Lomond, the estate and lettings agency group. His appointment marks a new phase for the company, which aims for further expansion.
Lomond has significantly grown its managed portfolio, which has more than doubled since 2022 to over 70,000 properties. The group has also completed around 70 acquisitions, including Homesure in Liverpool and Prospect in the Thames Valley earlier this year, expanding its presence across the UK.
Mr Geddes joins Lomond with previous experience in financial services, insurance, and wealth management, having served as CEO of Evelyn Partners and Direct Line Insurance Group. Under his leadership, Lomond intends to pursue both acquisition-led and organic growth, alongside investment in technology and AI.
Mr Geddes stated that his immediate focus is on supporting and learning from colleagues across the company to understand what makes each business successful. He added that Lomond's ambition is to be the most recommended property group in the UK.
