Trains operating to and from London Liverpool Street station have been stopped following a trackside fire. Greater Anglia reported at 14:57 BST that a fire at Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire had halted all train movements.

The rail operator stated that the London Fire Brigade requested trains be stopped due to multiple fires close to the railway lines. Services to and from Stansted Airport, Cambridge North, Meridian Water, and Hertford East are all affected.

Further trains are expected to be delayed, cancelled, or diverted via Seven Sisters. The London Fire Brigade is using fourteen engines to tackle a grass fire near Lea Road in Waltham Abbey.
