London is preparing for Halloween 2026 with a range of events scheduled across the city. Historic Royal Palaces, including Hampton Court Palace and the Tower of London, will host Halloween activities for all ages from 24 October to 1 November. Hampton Court Palace will feature roaming ghostly apparitions and an autumn trail, while the Tower of London offers early-bird access for a raven encounter and warders revealing historical secrets.
For families, Kew Gardens is bringing back its illuminated Halloween light trail from 16 October to 1 November, featuring legendary creatures and a new Monster Disco. Covent Garden will also have a programme of activities throughout October, including themed treats and a silent disco at the London Transport Museum.
Adults looking for Halloween celebrations have several options. The Haunting, a new bar in Covent Garden, will offer original Halloween cocktails until 1 November. Drumsheds in Tottenham has two events planned for 30 and 31 October, with False Idols and Elrow taking over the venue. Other venues like The Maine in Mayfair and Mitsu in Shoreditch are also hosting parties on 30 and 31 October respectively.
Additionally, the Twist Museum on Oxford Street will run a programme focused on perception from 24 October to 1 November, including ghost hunts and magic shows. Prison Island in Holloway is offering an immersive experience with ghosts of the prison's past on select evenings throughout October.
