London-based Inforcer announced a $50 million Series C funding round, led by Insight Partners. This latest investment brings the company's total funding to $110 million over the past 18 months.

Inforcer develops software used by managed service providers (MSPs) to manage Microsoft 365 accounts for their small and medium-sized business (SMB) clients. The company has invested capital in product development, including Shadow AI detection to identify unauthorized AI tool usage by employees and a threat detection and response tool for cybersecurity risks.

Co-founder and CEO Jamie Daum stated that business has been growing 300% year-over-year. He also noted that the company has doubled its valuation between its Series B and C rounds, though the specific valuation was not disclosed. Co-founder William Connor highlighted that cybersecurity attacks are now faster to execute, with attackers using AI to analyze targets and large language models (LLMs) to create phishing emails.

Inforcer is also planning to expand further in the U.S. The company is transitioning from a per-client pricing model for its 365 Manager to a per-user model for its new threat-detection tool. Future products may adopt consumption or token-based pricing models as the platform integrates more AI.

Why this matters: The investment highlights growing investor interest in solutions that help small and medium-sized businesses manage complex IT needs, particularly in the face of evolving AI and cybersecurity threats.

What this means for you: If you are a small or medium-sized business, this could mean more advanced tools becoming available through your managed service provider to help detect unauthorized AI use and protect against cybersecurity threats.
