Lucid Motors has announced a partnership with European mobility platform Bolt, which could lead to the deployment of robotaxis made by the California company across Europe. Bolt intends to deploy a minimum of 25,000 fully autonomous vehicles, based on Lucid's forthcoming mid-size electric vehicle platform.

The two companies will collaborate on the product-development stage for an autonomous driving system (ADS)-ready vehicle platform. These vehicles are planned to incorporate Nvidia's Hyperion autonomous vehicle compute and sensing architecture.

Despite the announcement, no vehicle orders have been placed by Bolt, and no financial transactions have occurred between the companies. There is currently no public timeline for when these vehicles might be deployed.
