Man charged with attempted murder after Borough Green stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder and other offences following a stabbing incident in Borough Green that left three people injured.

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing incident in Borough Green where three people were injured. Kent Police stated that armed officers were called to a property on Sevenoaks Road at approximately 07:40 BST on Thursday.

Juan Martez-Ortiz, a 46-year-old Dominican national of Sevenoaks Road, has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a knife, aggravated burglary, and stalking, according to the force.

Two men sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds, and a woman suffered injuries to her arm and face. Kent Police reported that one of the men's injuries was potentially life-changing.

Mr Martez-Ortiz has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Saturday.
