Man City enter race for Manu Kone, Tottenham eye Man City duo

Manchester City are reportedly set to challenge rivals Manchester United for midfielder Manu Kone, while Tottenham are in discussions to sign two Manchester City players.

Manchester City are reportedly looking to rival neighbours Manchester United in the pursuit of Roma's 25-year-old France midfielder, Manu Kone. Manchester United had previously been linked with Kone this summer.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are in discussions to secure two players from Manchester City: 22-year-old Brazil winger Savinho and 27-year-old Egypt forward Omar Marmoush.

In other transfer news, Aston Villa are showing interest in Chelsea's 28-year-old English defender Tosin Adarabioyo. This comes as a potential move to replace Ezri Konsa, following Arsenal's deal for the England international. Benfica have also reportedly contacted Chelsea regarding Adarabioyo.

Elsewhere, Barcelona are monitoring Harry Kane's contract talks with Bayern Munich, as the 33-year-old England striker has entered the final year of his current deal. Sunderland could potentially break their transfer record by activating the 60m euros (£51m) release clause for Sporting's 25-year-old Mozambique winger Geny Catamo.
