A man has tragically lost his life after being seriously injured by cattle at Felbrigg Hall, a National Trust property near Cromer in Norfolk. The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 BST on 13 July 2026, with emergency services quickly responding to the scene.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man in his 70s sadly died at the scene. The National Trust has confirmed that the man was a visitor to the property at the time of the incident. The organisation has expressed its shock and sadness at the news, offering condolences to the man's family and friends.
Felbrigg Hall, which was donated to the National Trust in 1969, features a lake and extensive woods covering 211 hectares. The site has been closed for the day following the incident, with the Health and Safety Executive also launching an investigation alongside Norfolk Police.
