A man in his 60s has died in hospital days after a suspected gas explosion at a bungalow in Newton Longville, near Milton Keynes. The explosion, which happened on Sunday, destroyed the home in Cobb Hall Road. Thames Valley Police said a man in his 60s was taken to hospital where he was receiving treatment for his injuries. Det Insp Philip Turner-Robson said: 'This is a tragic development and our thoughts are with the man's family and friends at this extremely difficult time.'
