Manchester United have officially confirmed the signing of Carlos Baleba from Brighton. The Cameroon international midfielder has put pen to paper on a contract that runs until 2031, with the club holding an option to extend it by an additional year.
United are understood to have paid an initial £65m for the 22-year-old. Baleba is the third midfielder to join the club this summer, following Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, bringing the club's total expenditure on the position to approximately £148m.
Baleba reportedly described United as the 'club of my dreams'.
