Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has withdrawn from the Slovenia squad, becoming one of four United players to pull out of international duty on Monday. The 23-year-old missed Sunday's 1-1 draw against Fulham with a shin problem sustained during the Carabao Cup defeat to Brighton last week.
Sesko will not participate in Slovenia's upcoming Nations League matches against Scotland, North Macedonia, and Switzerland. Manchester United confirmed his withdrawal, stating he "will undergo tests this week before defining his individual recovery plan."
Goalkeeper Karl Darlow also left the Wales camp, despite being on the bench for the Fulham game. Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo had previously withdrawn from the England squad. Rashford reportedly picked up an "issue" at Craven Cottage, while Mainoo was substituted during the closing stages of the draw.
