Enzo Maresca has made a strong start to his tenure as Manchester City manager, guiding the team to four victories in as many Premier League games. This impressive run sees City sitting joint-top of the league alongside Arsenal.
Maresca's most significant win came with a 1-0 triumph over rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday. The team secured the victory despite playing much of the game with 10 men after Phil Foden received a red card.
New captain Ruben Dias noted that Maresca has introduced his own ideas, including changes to pressing and defending, while maintaining the club's fundamental playing style. Maresca has also brought loud house music into training sessions, aiming to make players "more happy" and "work better."
City will begin their Carabao Cup defence against Norwich at the Etihad on Thursday, followed by a Premier League match against Sunderland three days later.
