Fans of fighting games and the Marvel universe are set to get their first hands-on experience with 'Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls' next week. An open beta for the highly anticipated title will be accessible to players on PlayStation 5 and PC, offering a glimpse into its mechanics and character line-up before the full release.
The beta is scheduled to run from Friday, July 24, 2026, to Sunday, July 26, 2026. Crucially, there is no pre-registration necessary; the beta will be available for all interested players to download directly from the 24th. This open access approach is expected to allow a broad audience to test the game's performance and features.
During the beta period, players will be able to explore a variety of content. This includes a comprehensive training mode, designed to familiarise participants with the game's unique fighting mechanics and its 15 available characters. Beyond training, the beta will also feature casual and ranked online matches, enabling players to compete against others and test their skills.
Furthermore, the beta will offer six distinct stages to fight across, alongside an introduction to the game's narrative. Three chapters from 'The Amazing Guardians' Episode Mode, part of the story mode, will be playable, giving players an early taste of the game's plot and character interactions.
The character roster for the beta will comprise 15 fighters from the game's full cast of 20. Iconic heroes and villains such as Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, Dr. Doom, and Magneto are confirmed to be playable, offering a diverse selection for players to master during the trial period.
