Michael 'Venom' Page becomes free agent after UFC contract ends

London fighter Michael 'Venom' Page's UFC contract has concluded following an underwhelming win against Nursulton Ruziboev in Paris.

  • Michael 'Venom' Page won his final UFC contract fight by unanimous decision against Nursulton Ruziboev.
  • Page is now a free agent after his contract with the UFC ended.
  • Fellow Briton Kurtis Campbell secured a victory by submission in his featherweight bout.

Michael 'Venom' Page's final fight under his UFC contract resulted in a unanimous decision win against Nursulton Ruziboev in Paris. Fans reportedly booed during the contest, which Page won without delivering a knockout.

The 39-year-old London fighter, known as 'MVP', has now had all five of his UFC wins since joining in 2024 come via decision. Page had previously admitted to underperforming since joining the organisation.

With his contract concluded, Page is now a free agent. Potential options for him include joining the PFL or transitioning to boxing if he does not re-sign with the UFC.

In other fights, Briton Kurtis Campbell returned to winning ways, submitting American Trevor Peek in the third round of their featherweight bout. London's Nathaniel Wood, however, lost by unanimous decision to Moldova's Pavel Andrusca, ending his four-fight win streak.
