Miley's new album, 'Bass Persuades', has made US chart history after recording the biggest-ever second-week drop for an album that debuted at Number One. The record plummeted 156 places on the Billboard 200, landing at Number 157, just one week after topping the chart.
The album, Miley's 10th studio release, entered the Billboard 200 at the summit with 61,000 equivalent album units. This marked her first US Number One album since 'Bangerz' in 2013.
'Bass Persuades' was released on September 18 through Atlantic Records. The album's announcement also confirmed that the artist would now be professionally known simply as Miley, dropping 'Cyrus' from her name.
