Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that she is actively preparing to work with her former Stranger Things co-star David Harbour on a new, as-yet-unnamed project. The announcement comes shortly after the conclusion of the hugely popular Netflix sci-fi series, which saw Brown and Harbour portray the beloved father-daughter duo, Eleven and Jim Hopper, for a decade.
Speaking on an upcoming episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Brown confirmed that she and Harbour have "concrete" plans in motion. While details of the venture remain under wraps, she hinted at the enduring nature of their on-screen bond, stating, "Father-daughter is where we live, but Netflix will always be our home." Brown also credited Harbour as the originator of the concept, adding, "The David Harbour project is sooner than expected, and it’s David’s idea, so kudos to him."
This revelation follows earlier hints from Harbour himself, who had previously suggested that multiple ideas were being developed between the two. He expressed a strong desire to continue their professional relationship, noting, "You’ll see more of me and Millie. Ten years wasn’t enough. There is a special bond there. I love her. She loves me."
The news also provides further clarity following earlier reports from November regarding a complaint filed by Brown against Harbour before the final season of Stranger Things began production. While neither actor nor Netflix commented publicly at the time, both Brown and Harbour have since spoken openly about their working dynamic. Harbour described the incident as a "simple rupture-and-repair thing" that was resolved through direct communication, emphasising their mutual adoration. Brown echoed this sentiment, highlighting how their relationship became more creatively collaborative over the years and expressing lasting gratitude for their shared experience.
Brown had previously affirmed her sense of safety on the Stranger Things set, stating, "Of course I felt safe. I mean, we’ve worked together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on that set." The upcoming collaboration underscores the strength of their professional bond beyond the confines of the Duffer Brothers' creation.
