Milo Yiannopoulos, the British-born far-right provocateur, was arrested by ICE in Louisiana and subsequently deported from the US this week. Yiannopoulos was an editor for Breitbart News between 2014 and 2017.
His deportation has led to claims of responsibility from other far-right influencers. Laura Loomer stated she reported Yiannopoulos to ICE and the FBI. Additionally, Raheem Kassam and Benny Johnson reportedly claimed to have advance knowledge of the Department of Homeland Security's plans for his removal.
Yiannopoulos's career has seen a decline, including bans from Twitter and Facebook, and a previous ban from Australia. In 2017, he resigned from Breitbart and lost a book deal following comments he made about the sexual abuse of children.
