The Monaco Yacht Show 2026 is currently showcasing 118 superyachts, with a total combined length of 5,508 metres and an estimated value of €4.5bn. The event highlights trends in the superyacht industry, including the increasing size of vessels.
According to the 2026 Global Order Book, which tracks construction projects, there are 1,093 yachts over 24 metres currently under construction worldwide. While this figure represents a 3.95% decrease from the previous year, it is balanced by an increase in the average length and gross tonnage of these vessels.
Among the yachts on display, a Zeelander 8, measuring 23.9 metres, would cost approximately €9.5m (£8m) to order, with a build time of 18 months. Another vessel, a Fast50 by Italian builders Baglietto, has a gross tonnage of 499, placing it below the 500GT threshold for more stringent International Maritime Organisation (IMO) safety and environmental rules.
The superyacht Nixie, built by Lürssen and owned by Revolut co-founder Nik Storonsky, is 102 metres long and can be hired for €2.4m per week. Boardwalk V, a 76.5-metre yacht belonging to Tilman Fertitta, is listed for sale at a discounted price of €135m, down €14m.
