Trent Rockets achieved their second victory in The Hundred women's competition today, beating Welsh Fire by eight wickets in Cardiff. The Rockets successfully chased Fire's total of 129-3.

Beth Mooney set the pace for Trent Rockets, scoring a half-century at the top of the order. The Australian wicketkeeper-batter made 57 runs from 35 balls, contributing to a 73-run opening partnership with Sophia Dunkley.

Nat Sciver-Brunt, playing her first game of the campaign, remained unbeaten on 37 runs. Her performance helped the Rockets reach their target with 17 balls to spare.

Welsh Fire's innings saw Sophie Devine score 38 from 25 balls, and Freya Kemp remained 36 not out from 29 deliveries, guiding their team to a total of 129-3.
