Work on the Grade II*-listed Moseley Road Baths and Balsall Heath Library in Birmingham, part of a £32.7 million restoration project, has been ongoing since 2023. The library is expected to open in summer 2027, while the baths are scheduled to reopen between the end of 2028 and the start of 2029.

The project's funding includes £10 million from Birmingham City Council, £9.2 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and £15.5 million from government levelling up funding. Simon Piaia, National Trust project manager, stated that the community's affection for the venue has been crucial in its preservation.

The restoration will connect the two buildings and add a mezzanine floor to the library. The Gala Pool will be fully restored, and a new accessible ground-floor public viewing area will be created. The site's second pool is to be converted into an event space, and the cast-iron baths, replaced in the 1950s, will be reinstalled.
