My Property Box has expanded its operations into the North West by acquiring the residential sales and lettings business of H&H Land & Estates. This undisclosed deal provides My Property Box with branches in Carlisle, Penrith, Cockermouth, and Kendal, marking its initial entry into the North West region.
This transaction is the 18th acquisition for My Property Box in seven years, extending its existing presence across the North East and North Yorkshire. The group secured a multi-million-pound investment from BGF in 2024 to support its acquisition strategy.
Following the acquisition, H&H Land & Estates will continue its land agency and rural property operations, including the sale and management of farms, estates, land, and smallholdings. The residential sales and lettings team from H&H, including director Pauline Carrera-Silva and branch manager Paul Doyle, will transfer to My Property Box.
Ben Quaintrell, founder and chief executive of My Property Box, stated that this acquisition makes them one of Cumbria’s largest estate agencies. Richard Rankin, chief executive of H&H Group, noted that the sale is part of a wider restructuring to increase focus on agriculture and the rural economy.
