Nate Amos, performing as This Is Lorelei, is releasing his new record, 'The Singer In My Band', on September 11, 2026. This marks his first album with Matador Records.
The album explores stripped-back Americana and folk-rock, a thread that has consistently appeared in Amos's previous work. Unlike earlier bedroom-written releases, this record was conceived while Amos was travelling.
The album features contributions from his family, with his father, Bob, playing banjo and his sister providing backing vocals. Songs such as 'Watching Heaven Fall' and 'Nitro' reflect these roots, showcasing a plain musicality.
