Chelsea have secured the future of winger Pedro Neto, rewarding his impressive start to the season and commitment to the club with a new contract. The Portugal international has penned a five-year deal, which includes the option of an additional year and a pay rise.
Neto, 26, had attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, notably Manchester City, during the summer transfer window. However, he reportedly expressed a desire to remain at Stamford Bridge and play under manager Xabi Alonso.
Alonso has deployed Neto as an attacking wingback, a role in which he has already found the net twice in five appearances this season. Since joining Chelsea from Wolves in 2024 for £54m, Neto has contributed to 40 goals.
This new agreement for Neto follows similar contract renewals for other key Chelsea players this year, including João Pedro, Reece James, and Moisés Caicedo, who have all received improved terms.
