A revolution in the UK property market has begun, as PersonalEstateAgent.com launched with a bold new approach to connecting sellers with personal estate agents. The platform, co-founded by industry veteran Leigh Brown and AI consultant Prad Patel, leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and personality profiling to create what it calls 'virtuous matches' between homeowners and agents.
The core of the system is a personality-based questionnaire, inspired by Myers-Briggs-style profiling, which assesses sellers' preferences and working style. The platform then matches them with an agent whose approach and values align, aiming for a smoother and more rewarding sales journey. The founders believe this alignment can lead to quicker sales and higher selling prices – a claim supported by data from TwentyEA showing personal estate agents outperform traditional agency models.
Launched in London and the Home Counties with around 50 agents on board, the service plans to expand nationwide in 2024. By highlighting and supporting this growing sector, PersonalEstateAgent.com also aims to raise awareness of established names such as eXp, TAUK, Moveli, and Keller Williams.
Mr Brown, a seasoned personal estate agent with over two decades of experience, sees the platform addressing a gap in the market. He believes sellers need agents whose methods resonate with their individual preferences – a sentiment echoed by industry insiders. As the platform looks to make its mark on the housing market, UK businesses may be prompted to explore AI integration to stay competitive.
