A new three-part documentary series titled "Hey Beautiful: Anatomy of a Romance Scam" is set to premiere tonight at 9pm on BBC Two.
The first episode will feature three women in middle life who recount their experiences after becoming lonely and starting online conversations with a man. It was later discovered that the same man was dating all three women and sought to obtain money from them.
The documentary aims to shock viewers, despite romance scam stories becoming a regular feature in television schedules.
