A new direct train service from Malmö, Sweden, to Oslo, Norway, is now operational. The route, run by Swedish rail company Snälltåget, completes the journey in 6.5 hours.
This new direct line offers an alternative to previous journeys between the two cities, which involved bus rides and fragmented train transfers. Tickets for the service start at £11 each way.
Since its launch this summer, the service has transported more than 25,000 passengers. Snälltåget currently operates one direct Oslo-bound train daily from Malmö Central at 6.38am.
