A new sleeper train service between Brussels and Milan has launched today, 9 September 2026. The European Sleeper night train offers a direct route between the two European cities, with tickets available from £26.
The inaugural journey is scheduled to depart from Milano Garibaldi at 4:45 pm local time today, arriving at Brussels-Midi station at 11:42 am the following morning. The return service from Brussels will depart just after 7 pm on Thursday, 10 September, reaching Milan at 11:40 am.
The route includes stops at nine other stations, such as Como S. Giovanni, Bellinzona, Göschenen, Aarau, Cologne, Aachen, and Verviers. Currently, trains run from Brussels on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays, with return journeys from Milan on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
From 14 December this year, European Sleeper plans to add stops in Antwerp, Breda, and Eindhoven. After this timetable change, departures from Brussels will be on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, while northbound trains from Milan will depart on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings.
