Nominations Open for 2027 and 2028 Lord-Lieutenant Awards in Wales

Nominations are now open for His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant Certificate of Merit awards for 2027 and 2028, which recognise service by reservists and cadet force adult volunteers.

Nominations are currently open for His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant Certificate of Merit awards for 2027 and 2028. These awards, hosted by RFCA for Wales, aim to recognise outstanding service from reservists and cadet force adult volunteers.

Lord-Lieutenants are scheduled to present these awards at eight ceremonies over two years in the preserved counties of Wales. The 2027 ceremonies include Dyfed on 14 January, Gwent on 28 January, West Glamorgan on 18 February, and Clwyd on 4 March. For 2028, ceremonies are planned for Powys on 13 January, South Glamorgan on 10 February, and Gwynedd on 2 March, with a date for Mid Glamorgan yet to be confirmed.

Nominations and citations can be submitted by Reserve unit Commanding Officers, Sea Cadet Corps District Officers, Army Cadet Force County Commandants, RAF Air Cadet Wing Commanders, and Combined Cadet Force Contingent Commanders.
