Northern Ireland Stun Ukraine 3-0, France Draw with Italy in Nations League

Northern Ireland secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Ukraine, boosting their promotion hopes, while France drew 1-1 with Italy in Zinedine Zidane's first home game.

Northern Ireland delivered a stunning 3-0 victory against Ukraine in Slovakia, propelling them to the top of their group in League B and strengthening their bid for promotion. Ciaron Brown scored twice, either side of a goal from Isaac Price, in a dominant performance.

In League A, Zinedine Zidane's inaugural home match as France manager concluded in a 1-1 draw against Italy. Michael Olise put France ahead, but Alessandro Bastoni equalised for Italy. France defender Dayot Upamecano was sent off late in the game, but Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made crucial saves to preserve the draw.

Elsewhere in League A, Belgium eased to a 3-0 home win over Turkey. Kevin De Bruyne netted two goals, with Romelu Lukaku adding a third, as Belgium moved within a point of France at the top of Group A1.
