Nvidia has announced a partnership with Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a company that develops data centre sites. The announcement was made on Friday, 21 August 2026, as Nvidia continues to invest in the AI buildout.
Cloverleaf Infrastructure, established in 2024, raised $300 million in its founding year. The company acts as an intermediary, providing power sources and other crucial infrastructure for data centre development.
While the specific terms of the deal were not disclosed, reports indicate that Nvidia's investment in Cloverleaf is expected to be several hundred million dollars. Reuters also reported that the chipmaker now owns a minority stake in Cloverleaf.
This partnership is part of Nvidia's broader strategy to finance and develop AI data centres, which subsequently purchase its AI systems. Earlier this week, Nvidia also announced a $1.5 billion investment in SB Energy, an OpenAI-linked data centre project located in Ohio.
