Luxury cruise line Oceania Cruises has launched a new range of wellness tours for its adult-only cruises. The new Wellness Discovery Tours offer UK travellers the chance to immerse themselves in local customs and culture during port stops. With over 50 wellness-focused excursions available, passengers can choose from a variety of experiences, including dance therapy sessions, meditation with a local monk, and tai chi in Bangkok.
The small-group, wellness-oriented tours bring guests together with a local specialist, providing a unique and transformative experience. The excursions are designed to promote physical and mental wellbeing, allowing passengers to slow down, explore different cultures and destinations, and return home with a renewed perspective.
Oceania Cruises' chief luxury officer, Jason Montague, believes that travel has become a powerful way for people to invest in their wellbeing. 'Our Wellness Discovery Tours are designed for those seeking to nurture their wellbeing and discover the rejuvenating power of travel,' he said.
The excursions are separate from the cruise fare and costs depend on the sailing and time of year. In addition to the wellness tours, Oceania Cruises offers immersive activities on board, including guest speakers, performances from local musicians, culinary lectures, hands-on cooking classes, and food and beverage pairing experiences.
