Olivia Rodrigo's first Daisy Chain Fields music festival, which took place on August 29 in Irvine, California, has successfully raised $10 million for its non-profit partners. The announcement was made by Rodrigo during her closing set at the event.
Philanthropist Melinda French Gates has committed to matching the $10 million raised by the festival. The one-day event featured an all-women lineup and pledged to donate 100 per cent of its net proceeds to 10 non-profit organisations focused on supporting women and girls.
The festival's lineup included artists such as Bikini Kill, Garbage, The Breeders, Doechii, Chappell Roan, Eli, and Die Spitz. Special guests Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, and Stevie Nicks also performed, with McLachlan joining Rodrigo for a duet.
