The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has today released early experimental data and analysis focusing on economic activity and social change in the UK. These real-time indicators are derived from rapid response surveys, novel data sources, and experimental methods.

The newly published data includes daily System Average Price (SAP) of gas and System Price of electricity in Great Britain. Insights into the housing market are provided through weekly and monthly data from Rightmove, alongside weekly figures for Energy Performance Building Certificates (EPCs) for properties in England and Wales.

Other indicators cover potential redundancies, new online job adverts, and Revolut debit card spending. The release also includes weekly shipping indicators for UK ports, daily UK flight numbers, and monthly data on Direct Debit failure rates and average transaction amounts. Additionally, weekly and monthly retail footfall data across the UK is available.
