The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is set to release its UK Trade: August 2026 report today, 15 October 2026. This publication will detail the total value of UK exports and imports of goods and services for August, presented in current prices, chained volume measures, and implied deflators.
The release is expected to include various datasets, such as monthly import and export country-by-commodity data for trade in goods. It will also provide information on trade by classification of product by activity (CPA 08) and revisions to monthly trade balance, export, and import data.
Further components of the report include seasonally adjusted annual, quarterly, and monthly goods export and import figures for all countries. Additionally, selected monthly figures for total goods and services, total goods, and EU and non-EU goods will be compared with previous highs, lows, and record figures.
