Outernet London has announced a new name for its central London music and live events venue, now officially known as Outernet Live. The rebranding, which sees the venue previously called HERE at Outernet adopt its new identity, is accompanied by a significant shift in its strategic and programming direction, aiming for stronger alignment with the broader Outernet immersive media, music, and culture district.
Located at the intersection of Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road, the Outernet district represents a substantial investment, valued at a billion pounds. The 2,000-capacity Outernet Live, which first opened its doors in 2022, holds the distinction of being the largest new live events venue constructed in central London since the 1940s. This move underscores a renewed focus on enhancing the venue's offering and integrating it more seamlessly into the wider cultural hub.
A key development in this strategic overhaul is the partnership with Ticketmaster, which will assume control of all ticketing operations for Outernet Live in the coming weeks. Furthermore, organisers have hinted at the introduction of new, exclusive premium offerings for visitors, with more specific details expected to be released at a later date. Philip O’Ferrall, CEO of Outernet, stated that the venue is developing an entirely new programming strategy, aiming to "supercharge the line up" and provide artists with enhanced screen capabilities for their performances.

Upcoming performances already scheduled include two September shows from Primal Scream, celebrating their album 'XTRMNTR', alongside gigs from artists such as Young Miko and Arcane Roots.
