A traveller with coeliac disease reported a mixed experience with gluten-free options during a recent trip to Paris. Despite initial positive experiences at Le Pigalle hotel, a subsequent incident at Molitor Hotel led to illness.

At Molitor Hotel, a dessert labelled gluten-free was found to contain gluten after the guest had consumed some. The hotel apologised for the error, stating their chef had reviewed all food and beverage components, and offered room upgrades as an apology.

The traveller also explored gluten-free bakeries in Paris. Copains, which has multiple branches in Paris and London, offered a wide range of gluten-free pastries, though they were noted as expensive. Noglu was also highlighted for its quality gluten-free options. Additionally, restaurants like Breizh Café and Loulou were found to offer suitable gluten-free choices, with staff knowledgeable about cross-contamination prevention.
