Parkers has established a new office in Basingstoke, integrating two independent estate agencies, Property Explorer and Barons, which it acquired earlier this year. This expansion extends Parkers' presence across Hampshire, complementing its existing network that includes offices in Tadley, Newbury, and Reading.
The acquisitions provided Parkers with an established presence and an existing property management portfolio in Basingstoke. Simon Gregory, Simon West, and Ben Mitchell, the franchise owners, will lead the new Basingstoke business. Parkers has retained staff from the acquired businesses and added an experienced local manager to the team.
The new Basingstoke operation will provide residential sales, lettings, block management, and financial services. The franchise owners aim to increase the agency's market share in the town over the next 12 months, with plans for further expansion into other major towns.
