Chessington World of Adventures in Surrey has welcomed the UK's first-ever Paw Patrol theme area. The 10-acre zone, inspired by the hit TV series, promises an immersive experience for young fans, complete with interactive rides, live shows and character meet-and-greets. Neil Lancefield, a father of a five-year-old, recently visited the attraction with his daughter and shared his thoughts on the new zone.
'My daughter was absolutely thrilled to see her favourite characters brought to life,' Lancefield said. 'The attention to detail is impressive, with each area of the Paw Patrol base recreated in exacting detail.' The new theme area features a replica of Adventure Bay, the fictional town where the show's canine heroes live and work, complete with a replica of the PAW Patroller, the team's high-tech vehicle.
The Paw Patrol zone also boasts a range of interactive rides and attractions, including a 'Pup House' where children can learn about the different breeds of dogs and their unique skills. Visitors can also participate in a 'Pup Academy' where they can learn to be a member of the PAW Patrol team and help the pups solve mysteries and complete missions.
The opening of the Paw Patrol theme area is set to delight fans of the show, which has become a staple of children's television in the UK. With its mix of adventure, education and fun, the attraction is a must-visit for families with young children.
