Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament is releasing a new photography book, 'Since Forever', featuring over 250 previously unseen images from the band's early years.

  • The book, 'Since Forever', contains more than 250 black-and-white photographs, with 90% never before made public.
  • The images, mostly taken between 1990 and 1998, document Pearl Jam's rise and include Ament's personal reflections.
  • Co-created with his brother Barry Ament, the book will be available on September 25.

Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament has announced the upcoming release of a new photography book, 'Since Forever', which will feature over 250 images from the band's formative years. The 9” x 12” hardcover book will showcase Ament's black-and-white photographs, capturing the people, places, and moments surrounding Pearl Jam's breakthrough in the 1990s.

Created with his brother, designer Barry Ament, the visual memoir will include the musician's personal reflections and observations alongside the photographs. Ament stated that 90 per cent of the images, predominantly taken between 1990 and 1998, have not been previously made public. He explained that a primary goal was to save the 30-year-old negatives, with the idea for the book originating from Barry.

The collection offers Ament's perspective as both a participant and observer, with photographs taken backstage, in recording studios, and during journeys between shows. Ament was a key figure in Seattle's alternative music scene before co-founding Pearl Jam, having played in Green River and Mother Love Bone.

What this means for you: You can pre-order 'Since Forever' through Pearl Jam’s official website, and it will be available at selected independent bookshops on September 25.
