Phoebe Bridgers showcased her recently released third album, 'Lost Weekend', at an intimate performance in Union Chapel, north London, on Monday night. The event marked her first solo UK show since 2022, drawing 900 attendees.
The setting for the performance featured Bridgers on a sofa, surrounded by lava lamps and a TV displaying a bouncing DVD logo screensaver. Fans were instructed to secure their phones in magnetic pouches, a practice also planned for her upcoming arena tour later this year.
Bridgers opened the show solo with her guitar, performing "Motion Sickness," before being joined by bandmates Nick White and Christian Lee Hutson. The album 'Lost Weekend' is described as focusing on grief for her father, who died in 2023, and features a more musically adventurous sound, though the live performance stripped back the songs to their core elements.
