Singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers has shared a new song, 'On Video', from the soundtrack of the A24 thriller 'Primetime'. The track, written and performed by Bridgers specifically for the film, plays over the end titles.
'Primetime', starring Robert Pattinson, is released in the US today, September 25, and is scheduled to arrive in UK cinemas on October 30. The film, directed by Lance Oppenheim, is inspired by the NBC series 'To Catch A Predator'.
Bridgers also takes on her first substantial acting role in a feature film, portraying Del Harvey, one of the programme's experienced decoys. NME's four-star review of 'Primetime' described Bridgers as "convincing despite only brief screen time".
'On Video' incorporates elements of the film's original score, composed by Ari Balouzian, and features a progression from a softer opening to heavier, distorted guitar textures before returning to a calmer sound.
