Placebo announce 2027 Latin American tour celebrating first two albums

Placebo have announced a Latin American tour for 2027, which will see them perform across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico. The tour is part of the band's ongoing 30th anniversary celebrations.
Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal are set to revisit material from their self-titled 1996 debut and 1998 album 'Without You I'm Nothing'. This will include tracks that have not been a regular part of their live sets for several years.
The tour is scheduled to begin on 20 February in São Paulo, Brazil, at Suhai Music Hall. Subsequent dates in March will take them to Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima, and Bogotá, before concluding with shows in Guadalajara and Monterrey.
The band previously announced a European leg of their anniversary tour, which is due to start later this month and will also focus on their first two records. Additionally, Placebo released 'RE' in June, a reworked version of their 1996 debut album.
