Both emphasised the importance of collaboration on common security threats in Europe, reducing illegal migration, and addressing unfair competition and overcapacity in global markets.
Additionally, the leaders discussed ongoing initiatives concerning AI safety, particularly in the context of the UK's G20 Presidency in 2027. The Prime Minister expressed anticipation for hosting the G20 Leaders' Summit in Manchester next year.
