Portugal maintain perfect start in Nations League, Germany secure first Klopp win

Portugal extended their perfect run in Nations League Group A4, securing a 4-2 victory over Denmark in Copenhagen. The win came despite the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, who reportedly left the camp before the match amid reports of a falling out with manager Jorge Jesus.

João Cancelo opened the scoring for Portugal, with Mikkel Damsgaard equalising for Denmark. Gonçalo Ramos quickly restored Portugal's lead, but Rasmus Højlund levelled the score at 2-2 early in the second half. Vitinha's header and a late strike from João Félix sealed the 4-2 win.

Meanwhile, new Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp celebrated his inaugural victory, guiding his team to a 2-0 win against Serbia in Group A2. Tom Bischof scored his first senior international goal, followed by a second from Florian Wirtz in the 61st minute.

In the same group, the Netherlands fought back to draw 2-2 with Greece. Tijjani Reijnders scored a late equaliser for the Netherlands after Greece had taken a 2-0 lead. Other Nations League matches saw Israel and Kosovo draw goalless, Malta and Gibraltar draw 1-1, and Azerbaijan held to a goalless draw by Liechtenstein.
