The Duke of Sussex has shared that it feels "great" to be back in Britain after six years of living in California. He told Canadian network CTV that his children are "happy in school" and that his return allows him to focus on the Invictus Games in Birmingham next July.
Prince Harry and Meghan moved back to Britain last month, having previously stepped back as senior royals in 2020 to begin a new life in the US. The family is thought to be residing at a private property in the Cotswolds, outside London.
Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, had to change schools shortly after starting due to security concerns regarding the school run. The Sussexes' private security team reportedly raised issues about the route's distance and heavy traffic.
The Duke has undertaken several public engagements related to the Invictus Games, including launching an education programme in Birmingham last week. The games, featuring 550 wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans, will take place from 10 to 17 July next year.
