  • The platform can capture leads, arrange appointments, identify cross-selling opportunities, and manage property maintenance enquiries.

The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) has acquired a 25% stake in the conversational AI platform Enteka Ai. This move aims to expand the use of artificial intelligence throughout TPFG's network of estate agencies.

TPFG is investing £900,000 in new shares for a 15% equity interest in Enteka Ai. An additional 10% stake has been issued upfront, subject to forfeiture conditions linked to a three-year commercial agreement, under which Enteka will become TPFG’s preferred AI provider.

Enteka's technology is currently operating in more than 210 TPFG offices, including branches of Belvoir, EweMove, Hunters, Martin & Co, Northwood, and Whitegates. The platform is designed for estate agents and mortgage brokers, handling enquiries across various channels such as telephone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and live chat.

The AI can capture and qualify leads, arrange appointments, identify potential cross-selling opportunities, and assist with property maintenance enquiries. TPFG anticipates that the adoption of the platform will grow beyond the existing 210-plus offices.

Gareth Samples, chief executive of TPFG, stated that the investment reflects a commitment to delivering long-term value for franchisees and creating a "first-mover at scale advantage." Enteka Ai will continue to operate as an independent business, supplying other estate agencies and mortgage brokers outside the TPFG network.

Why this matters: This investment could lead to increased adoption of AI technology within the property sector, potentially streamlining operations for estate agents and mortgage brokers.
