Property Professionals Encouraged to Take Lunch Break on 23 October

Estate agents and other property professionals are being encouraged to take a lunch break with colleagues or contacts on Friday 23 October.

  • The Property Industry Lunch Break is organised by The Boys Club, a wellbeing community for men in property.
  • The initiative encourages participants to arrange informal lunches without tickets, speeches, or formal arrangements.
  • This will be the third such event, following previous lunch breaks in March and June.

Estate agents and other property professionals are being encouraged to step away from their desks next Friday, 23 October, for the latest Property Industry Lunch Break.

Organised by The Boys Club, a wellbeing community for men working in property, the initiative aims to encourage people across the sector to take time out for lunch with colleagues, friends, or industry contacts. Unlike the industry's autumn awards season, there are no tickets, speeches, or formal arrangements; participants simply organise lunch with someone they know.

Ben Madden, founder of The Boys Club, stated: “One hour, someone you work with, and a conversation that isn’t about that nightmare chain. That’s all we’re suggesting.” Those taking part can arrange lunch at a restaurant, pub, or another convenient location. There is no registration requirement or central event, but participants are encouraged to share photographs on social media using #PropertyIndustryLunchBreak and #TheBoysClub.
