A unique 24-hour live online event, dubbed 'The 24-Hour Open House', is set to bring together property professionals across the UK this September, all while raising crucial funds for two significant charities: Breast Cancer Now and Andy's Man Club. Organised by industry consultant Toby Martin, the free event promises a continuous broadcast packed with learning, discussion, and entertainment.
Scheduled to run from 9am on Thursday 3 September until 9am on Friday 4 September, the event will feature an ambitious programme of 48 sessions, each lasting 30 minutes. Attendees can expect a diverse range of content, including specialised training sessions, live recordings of popular podcasts, insightful panel discussions, and interactive Q&A segments. The overnight hours are also set to include additional content, ensuring continuous engagement.
Confirmed speakers for The 24-Hour Open House include Phill Agnew, host of The Nudge podcast, who will delve into behavioural science and marketing strategies. Motivational speaker and author Nigel Risner is also slated to present, alongside Andy Barton, the founder of Andy's Man Club, who will discuss vital topics surrounding men's mental health. They will be joined by a host of prominent figures from the property industry, such as Kirsty Franks, Alex Tan, Stephen Brown, Chris Webb, and Mal McCallion. Simon Whale is expected to appear during the overnight programme, and children's author Libby Elliott, writing as Wendy Peterman, will host a special bedtime story session.
Beyond the educational and discussion-based content, the broadcast will also incorporate lighter, interactive elements, including quiz and gameshow-style segments. Further speakers and sessions are anticipated to be announced in the run-up to the event. Toby Martin expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting the industry's willingness to engage for a good cause. He noted that the event would be a blend of a webinar, a telethon, and, by the early hours, potentially a 'fever dream', all in support of the two charities' life-changing work.
Crucially, every penny raised through donations will go directly to Breast Cancer Now and Andy's Man Club, thanks to the event's sponsorship by Kotini. Kieran Witt, CEO of Kotini, emphasised the company's pride in supporting the initiative, describing it as an example of the property industry's generosity and collective spirit. Registration for the event is free, encouraging widespread participation from across the sector.
